VietPoll participates in Career Guidance Day
VietPoll Directors Thanh Le and Patrick Meza were invited to participate at the Career Guidance Day at the College Of Finance And Customs in Ho Chi Minh City. The event which was organized by Logistics Institute and it was attended by over 250 students of the College. The day started with two presentations from the Logistics Institute, followed by a short talk by Patrick Meza about the role of young people, such as those from the college, in shaping the future of business in Vietnam. The day concluded with a lengthy question and answer session with a great level of participation from many students.
Patrick Meza and Thanh Le, VietPoll Directors, describe the opportunity to attend such events as a privilege and a responsibility; “it is a privilege to be able to speak to young students that are just starting to think about their future careers and any positive input we can give them and guides them to achieve their goals is a great source of personal and professional satisfaction for us. But it is also a responsibility, as a business we are part of our social/business environment and as such we feel it is necessary to do something not for profit, but simply for the good of the community”.
